This section is the toughest part of the trail, especially
when wet. This section of eroded trail has had a
bridge built
to span this part. Unfortunately, the very poor construction of it has caused
it to
erode as much as the trail. You can faintly see some of the 5"
spikes sticking out from each of the logs going in all directions.

In fact, I had moved the log on the far right out of the
bridge
as it posed a substantial threat for tires. There is about a 1' ledge going
up to the horizontal log on the bottom and can be really trick to climb up
with that ooey, gooey wet clay/mud. This is looking back in the direction
we came.
